Warehouse Associate – Kansas City

What You Will Do: This role supports daily warehouse operations in Kansas City. It handles shipping and receiving, inventory control, warehouse organization, and general labor tasks. The position also assists technicians, helps resolve shipment issues, and assists the Logistics/Warehouse Manager. Regular travel to local job sites and other company warehouses is part of the work.
Shipping, Receiving & Inventory
- Handle shipping and receiving, including preparing outbound items and coordinating incoming deliveries.
- Coordinate with Operations on product availability and shipment schedules.
- Verify shipping rates and maintain shipping/receiving paperwork, records, and reports.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct physical inventory audits.
Warehouse Operations & Support
- Maintain warehouse and dock organization, load and unload trucks, and complete general labor tasks.
- Process customer and vendor RMA requests and help resolve shipment issues.
- Assist Installation and Service Technicians as needed and serve as backup to the Logistics/Warehouse Manager.
- Perform janitorial work such as sweeping, trash removal, and breaking down packaging.
Professional Standards & Safety
- Follow KCAV policies and safety procedures; report unsafe conditions or injuries.
- Maintain a professional image in communication and appearance.
- Travel to job sites and other company warehouses as needed.
- Complete other assigned projects or duties.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of general warehouse management experience preferred
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and be able to learn Solutions Q360 quickly
- Basic math skills like measure, divide, multiple and add/subtract
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
- Class B Commercial Driver License and/or forklift/pallet jack experience is preferred but not required
- Must be able to pass a background check (including pre-employment drug screening)
