The Warehouse Associate will manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse facility in Columbia, Missouri, and perform a variety of general labor as assigned.

 Essential Responsibilities:

  • Administers shipping and receiving functions of the Columbia warehouse facility including preparing items for shipment, coordinating receipt of incoming items, coordinating with Operations team to ensure timely availability and delivery of product, managing shipment schedules including communication with all appropriate parties
  • Verifies shipping rates
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels working closely with the Warehouse Manager in Kansas City to coordinate as appropriate
  • Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving paperwork, records and related reports and databases
  • Perform physical inventory audits coordinating with Warehouse Manager and CFO in Kansas City as appropriate
  • Process customer and vendor RMA’s (Return Merchandise Authorization)
  • Assist customers and internal staff with resolving shipment issues and complaints
  • Oversees the organization of the warehouse facility and receiving dock
  • Perform a variety of tasks as assigned to assist with general warehouse operations
  • Load and unload trucks at KCAV warehouses and/or customer sites including unwrapping items, and moving items to designated locations
  • Perform janitorial duties including sweep warehouses, property, or work areas, take out trash, clean, break down boxes/packaging, etc.
  • Assist Installation Technicians and Service Technicians as assigned


  • 2 + years of general warehouse management experience preferred
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and be able to learn Solutions Q360 quickly
  • Basic math skills like measure, divide, multiple and add/subtract
  • Ability to work independently without constant supervision
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
  • Class B Commercial Driver License and/or forklift/pallet jack experience is preferred but not required
  • Must be able to pass a background check (including pre-employment drug screening)

Because of our growth, we are seeking multiple AV Sales Consultants who will manage all opportunities, sales, and customer activity in his/her assigned territory and seek out new business for Kansas City Audio-Visual (KCAV) in several markets (Mid-Missouri, KC Metro, Omaha/Council Bluffs and St. Louis Metro) :

  • Consult with potential customers to understand their needs; identify and suggest equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs
  • Develop a sales plan to meet sales quota
  • Identify, pursue, and build relationships with potential customers within territory
  • Identify and analyze customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts
  • Resolve customer issues
  • Identify new market segments that will benefit from company products
  • Maintain knowledge of market, competition, and best practices and trends in sales techniques and strategies
  • Provide information to sales support team so that accurate information for opportunities, quotes and quick list quotes can be created and processed in Q360
  • Coordinate with the project management and engineering team members to ensure necessary information for each project is communicated in a timely manner and in accordance with operational procedures
  • Local, regional and out-of-state travel is required on a regular basis


  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven success in the AV installation and service industry, or a related technology field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Ideally the successful candidate will have specific customer knowledge and established relationships in one of the available sales territories (Columbia/Jefferson City, KC Metro, Omaha/Council Bluffs or St. Louis Metro), so candidates based in these areas will be given preference. However, we will consider very highly qualified candidates who are willing to relocate for the role. Compensation package includes base salary, auto allowance, and generous commission structure resulting in excellent earning potential, and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) match and profit sharing.

KCAV is growing and we are hiring a mid-level technician in Omaha, NE.

Installation Technicians are responsible for installation of AV systems and performing general labor as assigned at customer job locations.  Local and regional travel will be required for this position. This is a mid-level technician role for someone who has prior AV installation experience.

If you can complete structured cabling projects (pulling, terminations, testing), follow CAD elevations and system schematics, can read engineering drawings/specification sheets and/or lead small to mid-level installation projects without control/Audio DSP, we want to talk to you!

It is a huge plus, but not required, if you are CTS certified, have familiarity with audio configuration, and/or have experience with control systems like Crestron or Extron

We provide all the tools and training you will need, if you can provide an eagerness to learn, a solid mechanical aptitude and an ability to problem solve and work independently.  You will also need a valid driver license/acceptable driving record and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. 

Because of our growth, we need a dedicated Sales Director who will oversee and lead the Sales and Marketing strategies for KCAV including:

  • Collaborate with President to develop sales strategies
  • Develop and ensure corporate revenue and margin objectives are met
  • Review and analyze sales and operational records and reports; use data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets
  • Develop and communicate sales forecasts to the Leadership Team
  • Identify and analyze customer preferences to properly direct sales effort
  • Resolve customer issue
  • Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers to achieve business objectives
  • Identify new market segments that will benefit from company product
  • Oversee broad range of marketing activities including advertising campaigns, industry trade shows, promotional activities and events
  • Analyze target-market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches
  • Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget
  • Develop existing sales team and build team as appropriate
  • Develop sales compensation plans
  • Assign territories and set quotas for sales team and actively manage

What you will need:

  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven success in the AV industry or related technology industry
  • Proven success in scaling a sales organization
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing and developing a sales organization
  • Experience in developing sales territories and quotas in a growing sales organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated strong supervisory and leadership skills

Ideally the successful candidate will be based at our KCAV headquarters in Kansas City, MO, or one of the KCAV branch offices in Omaha, NE or Columbia, MO, so candidates based in MO, KS, or NE will be given preference. However, we will consider a remote/hybrid arrangement for very highly qualified candidates who are based elsewhere in the US.
